Wrist report

Little N is feeling much better today. Thanks you all of you for the well wishes. I am not sure if he is just a quick healer or if it was the awesome Elmo balloon he got from his friend Big T and his family, but this afternoon he decided to give that arm a shot and decided it didn't hurt quite so bad anymore. Yay! We are very excited that he is getting back to his happy, two-armed self! Just in time to head to Grandma and Grandpa's in St. Louis tomorrow for a fun weekend away.

Little N's latest adventure

Little N had himself a little injury today. Nothing serious...just a sprained wrist we think. He and Mommy got to go take pictures with a big camera this afternoon, but were happy to hear that nothing is broken. He was a little sad because P couldn't be in the room for the xrays since she is pregnant, but he was very brave and even said cheese. Here is Little N with his new sling on that he gets to wear for a little while. As you can see by the t-shirt, there were many stickers given out today for good and brave behavior(a few are hiding behind his arm...he wanted them all when given a choice)!

I think poor TR2 was more upset than P was when she had to call with the news. We definitely expect a few "adventures" with this lively little boy and this one was nothing a sling and some Curious George couldn't cure...and a few M&M's that P thankfully had in her purse this afternoon!

Here is a picture of Little N last night. He insisted on wearing Mommy's shirt. Look's like a nice yellow dress to me!

A little vacation of sorts

This weekend, in celebration of P and S's friend B's birthday, we all got rooms at the Embassy Suites in Bloomington on Saturday night. This has been one of P's most favorite activities since she was very little and her Grandma worked at the Embassy Suites in St. Paul. It is such a nice hotel and so much fun to go and stay for the night! P and our friend C decided that we would bring the kids this year and let them have a little vacation too! So, Little N and his friend Little Miss M hung out and had a very good time playing together. We even managed to get in a couple swim sessions, which was really fun. Little N had his first experience with water wings and they worked awesome! Though I am certain that his favorite part of his whole experience at the "hotel house" as he called it was the upalator(most people call this the elevator). The elevators are glass and you can see the whole hotel while you ride. He really enjoyed this and even was fixating on watching them when not riding.

Here is Little N, swimming in the pool. He was a real pro, blowing bubbles, jumping off the side, working on his kicking....He is all brushed up on his skills for Grandma and Grandpa's this summer! Here is Little N with his super sweet car suitcase.

Happy Hump Day!

Just some pictures from the past week....

P bought a new stroller for two and it came this week. Both she and Little N were very excited! S helped put it together and Little N was so excited he just couldn't stop trying to help. Here he is sporting his new stroller. Just waiting for his baby sister to ride with him!

Here is Little N wearing Mommy's shoes and his beads.....a nightly occurrence these days!

And a little Wrestlemania at the V household! This was one of the things that S looked forward to most about having kids....all the wrestling. Little N is finally at the point where he really enjoys it too.

A visit to Auntie A

Little N had been in desperate need lately of a visit to his Auntie A. We have just been so busy these past couple weeks that there hasn't been time. Here is a picture of Little N on Saturday morning.Even he looks scared about the desperate nature of this hair situation!

So.....we decided that today, Sunday, since we finally had some free time that we would go visit Auntie A for a much needed haircut! We picked up a little Papa Murphy's and made an evening of it. Little N had a blast playing with his cousin, Miss J, and seeing Uncle M and Auntie A. One huge bonus from this visit was that he left their house looking very handsome. P just loves how cute his little haircuts from A are. Here is our handsome little boy in a weekend "after" shot.

Happy Valentine's Day!

We hope you all had a good Valentine's Day. This year, Little N had a date with his Grancy for the night. She was nice enough to let him visit while P and S went out for the evening. We tried a new restaurant called Fogo De Chao, which is a Brazilian restaurant downtown Minneapolis. It is basically all you can eat meat. It was very nice and really yummy! We went out with 8 of our close friends and had a really good time! It was a group of people that we love to hang out with, but don't get to as often as we would like. Here are a few pics from our night out.I have to say that we all clean up pretty nicely!

Family time!

On Sunday morning we had some family time, just hanging out. S and Little N did a little of their favorite activities, cuddling and wrestling! Little N's new favorite game is to "climb Daddy."After that, we got a little fashion show. Here is Little N wearing Mommy's shoes...too bad he forgot to accessorize with his pink purse! A few weeks ago, P had a Tupperware party. Luckily for her, everyone who came was just as excited about buying it as she was. As a result, as S would say, "3 boxes the size of small cars" came to our house, filled with Tupperware! P managed to sort her way through it all and hand out the goodies this week. Little N was very happy to get the boxes to play with in the end! What a great hiding spot for a little guy!

Also, on Monday, P had a doctor appointment for Baby V. She is now in her 25th week of pregnancy, only 111 days(give or take a few) left to go!

The doctor said that our little girl is doing great! P has been trying very hard not to go overboard on the shopping for little girl clothes, but she has caved a few times and bought some pretty cute outfits! Here are a few of them she found.....If only picking names was this easy!

A Ladies night with P's family

A few times a year, the ladies in P's family all get together for a domino tournament. Last Saturday was one of those nights. We all went to D's house for lots of good food and fun! We were missing a couple ladies this time because Grancy and her cousin D were on a cruise in Hawaii....poor women! A good time was had by all. There were lots and lots of laughs! This is a gambling family, so everyone pays an entrance fee and we payout for 1st, 2nd, and booby prizes. We had 2 tables going and P managed to win 2nd place at her table! Wahoo!Below is a picture of the lucky ladies from the N Family showing off their prize money. They always win! They did a clean up at their table.
