Miss M's baptism

Today, Miss M was baptised. She had lots of great family and friends present to witness this special day. We so love you M and feel so blessed to have you in our lives!

One of my most favorite parts of today was that for her baptism, Miss M wore the very same baptismal gown that my Aunt D(my godmother) and me(P) wore for our baptisms. D is easily one of the most special people in my life and it was so great to me that all 3 of us were able to wear the same dress. A big thanks to Granny for taking such good care of it over the years!

This was one of her fancy bibs that she received as a gift when she was born. A man that P works with had his wife make 2 adorable bibs for her. They are all handmade and so great!

P's friend A was the godmother. Miss M did shed some tears, however it was because she had to stop eating. :)
Here we are! She wasn't super into the pictures.

Such a sweetheart!

At the party afterwards, Little N put on his tux from the night before and we took some pictures. Here he is with Miss J. They were too cute!

Miss M and Nathan...not having such good luck lately trying to get a good pic of these two kids together!

This is my children with their 5 Grandmas! How lucky are they to have so many???

Little N got to take a little dip in the pool after lunch. Today was the last day of the season that Grancy's pool is open at her condo so we had to take advantage. He had a blast swimming with cousins J, TH, and MH. Thanks boys for taking him in and for helping J too!
Thank you to all who came to share this day with us! We love you!

What a wedding!

Whew! We are all exhausted from a fun, but completely chaotic weekend! We started out the weekend with a rehearsal dinner on Friday night and then a wedding on Saturday. S' best friend, JL, got married on Saturday and Little N and S were both in the wedding party. P and Miss M got to go to the church early with the boys to help get everyone ready. P just had to do a little photo shoot with N after she got him dressed. I know I'm biased, but is this not the cutest ring bearer you have ever seen???

Such a stud!

Watch out ladies!

These "tap shoes" were Little N's most favorite part. When we went to pick up his tux and try it on, he cried when he had to take them off. He just kept standing in front of the big mirror and pulling his pants leg up to admire his shoes.

Here is Little N and his little lady, L. They were super loving each other throughout all the festivities. It was so adorable!
Here they are, hard at work! They gave quite the performance too! About halfway up the aisle, Little N broke into a run to come tell me that all the lights were flashing...this would be all the cameras that just had to take pictures of this cute little duo. When he got to me I said, "N, you forgot L!" He said, "Oh yeah!" So, he turns around and there is L, right where he left her with her hand on her hip. She says "you get back here" with the most adorable little attitude. Well, he listened and ran right back to finish their journey together. Oh how I hope there is video of that. I heard someone behind be laugh and say "it won't be the last time he gets bossed by a woman." The whole church was laughing.

I love this picture of J and the wedding party in the background.

This little lady was such a good sport! We were at that church for many hours, but she just happily watched from the sidelines.
My other stud! Those boys were a good looking crew!

Here is S, JL, and Grandpa having a good time at the reception at O'Garas. It was a fun day!

Labor Day weekend

We had a great holiday weekend. On Saturday, S went to his best friend J's bachelor party and P and the kids and Grancy went to get the kids pictures taken and then to a pool party. Sorry forgot to take pics. Then on Sunday, we went up to hang with the H family and P's relatives. We had a great time and shared our pics and videos from J's Montana wedding and our trip to Yellowstone. P also had a fun little photo session with Miss M. We then completed our weekend by going to the Great Minnesota Get Together and having a great day!

Getting some crazy hair!

Little N's super sweet "fair do"......It was great, but we decided no glitter next year!

Whew! That gets us all caught up. We promise to better now.

Love you all!

3 months old! Where has the time gone??

Such a sweetheart!

STL!

P and S and a few other couples are part of a dinner club. We meet once a month, have dinner, and enjoy an adults night catching up with good friends. This month was our turn to host and we asked Grandma and Grandpa in St. Louis if they would mind us hosting down there and they said ok! There were 5 of us that went down and we had a blast! We did take the kids this time, but Grandma and Grandpa kept them so we could still have some adult time. We went to a Cardinals game at the gorgeous Busch stadium and spent time enjoying their fabulous new pool.

Back at it

After 12 wonderful weeks with the kids, I am now back to work. I loved every single second of spending time with them, but am actually a little glad to be back to work too. I really do like my job and the people I work with. I also have two wonderful friends who take care of Little N and Miss M. If it wasn't for these ladies, I would have a much harder time with this! So thank you to E and TR2 for taking such good care of my babies! While I do think Little N really enjoyed his summer, he was very excited to go back to both of his daycares last week. I am so glad he has such a good time. I know that even though she can't tell me, Miss M had a good time too!

Here are just some pics from the last couple weeks of Miss M and Little N that I wasn't able to post. She's growing and changing so fast! She is now a giggler out loud which is my most favorite sound in the world! I love this stage.

Miss M....12 weeks old. Tomorrow is the big day! Off to daycare!

A couple last projects before going back to work!

With all of our traveling this summer, we hadn't had time to get to one very important project that was overdue....Little N's potty training. Unfortunately, by the time we were home and ready to start, S had to go out of town for work, so P had to start by herself since she was going back to work in a week and a half and wanted Little N to be as trained as possible for daycare. This was a far bigger project than I thought it would be! The first day we tried Pull-ups, which only felt too much like diapers to the little guy and resulted in many accidents. So, the method that finally did the trick ended up to be Little N running around our house naked for 2 days! Amazingly that did the trick(good thing we have hardwood floors!). A couple accidents(and many gray hairs for P) later, Little N was well on his way. Luckily for P, Grancy and Granny were willing to help out towards the end of the week. She was starting to get a little stressed doing it on her own and not leaving the house! He is now doing so fantastic! I am one very proud Mommy! Below is a shot of his Potty Chart, which he is very proud of! He got a sticker for each success. Love you Little N!

The next project P started before going back to work was Little Miss M's room. We have begun the change from office to cute little girl bedroom. Grancy came to help P paint. It is still a work in progress, but becoming cuter! I can't wait for it to be done and to post the finished pitcures!

It's been so long!

Sorry everyone for the big break in posts! We had no internet for a few weeks, but now we are back up and running! I will try to fill in the gap now....

A few weeks ago P & S went to a party at the B's house. It was a farewell bash for them, as they are moving to Atlanta. GB has already moved to start his new job fixing VWs and JB will be joining him soon because her job with Delta is what is taking them there. We had a lot of fun with some of our good, long-time friends. There was karaoke, dancing, and just a lot of catching up and having a good time. Here are a few pics....
