J & B

J & B were unable to come and spend Christmas with us, but they came a couple weeks later to visit. We had lots of fun visiting with them and were even able to get a big family gathering organized, thanks to Aunts C & L! We sure wish they lived closer!

Little N got a super cool new bike for Christmas from J & B that will hook on to Mommy or Daddy's bike!

We all went over to C & L's for dinner. Happy Birthday J!

Everyone having a good time

A couple N'isms occurred while Uncle J was visiting. One night we were watching old home movies of P & J when they were very little. The next morning, N got up and looked at the movies on the floor and announced "I do not like that little Mommy. I only like my big Mommy!" I love you too N!

Then, while sitting on the couch with J & B, eating some trail mix, J told N that he really liked the "bent nuts," meaning the cashews. Then he looke ddown a couple minutes later to see Little N trying to bend the peanuts for him. Too cute N! We are glad you love your Uncle J so much that you would try to bend the nuts for him!

Pigtails!!!

Miss M's hair is now long enough for pigtails and actually looks a little "shaggy" when we leave it down, so we have been snapping some pictures of her with her new hairstyle. We think they are just too cute!

Then.....there are the after effects of the pigtails.....

Going for the "windswept" look

Yikes....spikes!

The kids

N still just loves to play with Miss M, which I did not expect until she was a little older, but it is very nice. He keeps her entertained to say the least....usually she spend her time giggling at everything he does!

Happy New Year!

A little late, but we hope you all had a very Happy New Year. Here's to a fantastic year ahead! We spend New Year's Eve with some very good friends of ours....JM & JL and Grancy and JL's parent's. Ever since P was a baby, we had a standing plan of spending New Year's Eve with the L's. It was always so much fun! Then, us kids grew up and went to college, though our parents continued the tradition. The last 2 years, we have been able to do this again, sometimes minus the brothers, but we had a blast and hope to spend many more New Year's celebrations with this group!

Kids at play

A and P decided to get the kids together to play the week after Christmas since we both had some time off work. An did a little hairstlying for Miss M and J and N playing with all N's new toys!

Do you like my 'do?

Trying out the new Tonka...I'd say it's pretty sturdy!

The holidays....

While G & G were here, we were able to catch up with some of Grandma's family. Miss M got to meet cousin B. They had fun together. They are only about a month apart in age.

All that visiting, while fun can also be very tiring. Here is Grandma, M, and S having a little down time.

So very behind!

I am going to make an attempt today to catch up on our blog....this is a big goal considering that I still have some Christmas pictures to post! Sorry folks! Here we go...

Here are some pics from our Christmas with just the immediate V Family. We had them over Saturday after Christmas so we could spend some more time together, since G & G were still here.
