The other day, M was eating dinner and picked up a piece of fruit and put it on top of her head. She then left it there while continuing to eat as if this was the way to do things. We all found it very funny and of course had to grab the camera.
Silly girl, you make us laugh!

So Big!
My new trick! Mommy says I'm very smart. :)
M is very into copying lately. She dropped her cup the other day and I said "uh oh" and she said "ah ha." It was pretty close, but you could tell she was very pleased with herself and continued to "ah ha" all day.
9 Months Old! Well, now 9 and a half.....
This is Miss M's 9 month birthday blog, but seeing as I am a bit behind, she is already 9 and a half months! :)
Here are her 9 month stats:
Weight: 21 lbs. 8 oz.
Height: 27 inches
She is in the 95th percentile for weight and about 75th for height.
Looking back at N's stats, here is what he was at 9 months:
Weight: 19 lbs.(only 25th percentile)
Height: 28 inches(50th percentile)
And here are some pics of our little beauty!
Looking over at Mom...little stinker!
I think this is my favorite! :)
And always one of my favorite shots....the cheeks! Just so kissable!
We love you M!

Scott vs. Food
When we go to St. Louis, we often fin ourselves watching the food channel(no cable for us at home). One of S's favorite shows is Man vs. Food. For those of you that haven't seen it, it is a guy who travels all over the US to various restaurants and attempts to each extremely large portioned items off their menu. When I was looking for things to do in San Antonio, I came across Lulu's, which was only about a half mile from our hotel and had been on Man vs. Food for their extremely large Chicken Fried Steak and their Cinnamon Rolls. So, one morning we walked to Lulu's and had breakfast. S tried the Chicken Fried Steak.....not the biggest size and it still filled the plate. We then got one of their 3 lb. cinnamon rolls to go. It is the only size they sell!
Chicken Fried Steak...the eggs and toast had to go on a whole other plate!
Look at ak those rolls!
This thing was heavy!

On our boat tour of the Riverwalk
The weather was great!
The Alamo...S had to check if it had a basement! :)
Last day...sunny and 79! Perfect!
We had such a great time! Mostly we ate, slept, drank on wonderful patios, and strolled the riverwalk. What a great trip. Though we of course missed our little sweethearts, it was a great 4 days to just be the two of us and relax and rejuvinate. We owe my family so big for making this trip possible. Thank you to the H Family, Grancy, and Granny! We really don't know what we would do without you! We know our kids had fun too. Every time we talked to N on the phone he would say "I'm not going home yet!" I love that they had as good of a time as we did.

Around the house
M still mostly is traveling backwards when it comes to crawling, which results in getting squeezed into a few tight spots. Here she backed up and was between our couch and N's arm chair. This girl is sure getting around! I have a feeling crawling...in the forward direction....is just around the corner.
Peek-a-boo!
Going, going.....
N and Daddy
I bought M a swim hat for the pool this summer and N just thinks it is the greatest thing...a little tight on him though. :)
This picture cracked me up because though he was actually running, the moment I caught the picture makes it look like he is prancing the runway!
Modeling her own hat. C'mon summer! Let's go!
