Happy 4th of July!

On the 4th of July, we got together with some friends that we had not seen in about five years. It was so so much fun and was like we hadn't missed a day seeing them. Thank you J Family for your hospitality and the great time! Let's not wait five more years to do it again!

Target Field

P's company had a "Day at Target Field" that the 4 of us V's happily attended a couple weeks ago. What a nice stadium! We had a lot of fun!

We walked in and looked down on the field and N asked, "can I play?" We said no, that they wouldn't let him play. Then, after thinking for a minute, he asked "can I just run the bases?" Always worth asking buddy, but sorry, we just stayed in our section.

Happy 3-0 to Uncle M!

The Friday that we were there was Uncle M's 30th bday! Uncle D drove down and surprised him and the guys went golfing for the dayWe ladies were treated to a spa day earlier in the week...heavenly). We ladies(and N) went to the Magic House and then we all met up for a great poolside bday party later!

I have to wait for G to send some pics of the golfing, but here are some of the rest of the day!

A week of fun in the sun

So, I am a little behind on my posts. The last week of June, we went down to St. Louis for 8 days to visit G & G and relax in the sun and play in the pool. Auntie A, Uncle M, and the kid's cousins JV and SV came too! Here are some pics of our wonderful week!

This was another Food Channel adventure we sought out this year. There is a pizza place, in St. Louis, called Pointer's Pizza that make a pizza called the Pointersaurus...it is a 28" pizza, weighing roughly 10 lbs. They have a challenge that if two people can eat it in an hour, they get $500. Here is N, pointing to the autographed pizza box from Adam(Man vs. Food guy).

Yummy! It was delicious! Ten of us ate it and there were leftovers!
