Giving us a run for our money!

Yep....twice in a month. That is how many times Miss M and I went to the ER in January. Two times to the ER and two times she got stitches in her face. Good thing I upped the flex spending account this year! Not sure I am ready for the rest of 2012!

I was at work and Miss B, from the kids daycare called to tell me "I think you better come because M may need stitches." I said, "you have got to be kidding me!!" I think I scared her, but seriously, the other ones had just come out like 3 weeks prior! So....off I went to fetch M and head over to Children's Hospital again. She had gotten up off her chair at school, tripped, and hit her face on another chair on the way down.

In the waiting room....looks like she just came home from war, not daycare!

Owie

She got a little pack n' play for her babies for beig such a trouper

This is who she picked to sleep in it. :)

Never a dull moment....

N and his BFF are now the same!

N's BFF, TJ, turned 5 in January, so we drove down to Mankato to celebrate! What a great day! He was very excited, not only to see TJ, but because they are now the SAME again!

We started out with some sledding....

Yes, the hill looks quite grassy, but turns out the sleds worked just fine!

Miss M, ready to go

Little Mr. serious...aka CW

N, in action, falling over :)

Came up with a big grin! Don't worry guys, I'm ok!

MJ, carrying little JJ up the hill

And down they go! The hill was surprisingly slippery for the lack of snow on it!

Our friend MW, helping N get positioned for a run down the hill

I love this picture. I definitely think that the dads had as much fun as the kids...if not more!

Miss Princess, getting a ride up the hill

MJ, getting ready to try the saucer

Not so successful...

My friend KW, hanging with the littles. The mom's had it easy this afternoon. I took pictures and both KW and EJ were preggers, so they hung out at the top as well!

Don't worry, it's not yellow! Good to go!

Workhorse Dad, pulling one and carrying the other!

All the kiddos...except CW, I think he was sleeping.

TJ, blowing out the candles....note the road rash on his face. That was from run #1 on the hill. By the end of the afternoon, N had some of that going on too. Little boys...what are ya gonna do.

Yummy! Cake!

The BFFs. :)

So silly!

And so serious! This kiddo cracked me up. Every picture was dead serious.

What a great day for all of us. So many good friends, together from so far apart!

Hanging with the cousins

Our kids LOVE to play with their cousins. So much that N is constantly telling me that he would like more cousins. I am sure to tell him who he should be bugging about that! ;)

We try to do an evening together every other week. Here one of those nights:

I turned around and this one had found some rollerskates and put them on!

Uncle M took her for a little skate in the kitchen

Twister!

They played like 15 rounds!

Playing "Just Dance" on the Xbox...very funny!

The littles were trying out the balance board while dancing. :) Guess it wasn't challenging enough for them.

It was also Auntie A's bday month!

Sleeping like a baby

This is exactly how N slept when he was a baby. It makes me smile when I check on him at night and he is still sleeping like that. :) Wow, does that seem like a long time ago!

My sweet boy....who seems to have snuck his sister's Dora in bed with him! ;)

Love you, Buddy!

A Tea for Three....for Baby C

My cousin JC's wife, DC, is due with their first baby in Feb. My mom, aunts, and I threw her a baby shower for a whole lotta people to help her get ready for the little arrival. We had so much fun together doing this shower! What a blast.

My gift to Baby C

Yum!

My Aunt CJ, getting ready. :)

The tables

The sweetheart table for the mom and dad-to-be

My centerpieces. I made these cake pops for a total of about 15 hours the days prior...my feet were practically frostbitten form our kitchen floor!

The yummy scones my mom made

My favorite detail of this shower was that we used all my great-grandma K's teacups. She collected them and I still remember the display cases they were in when I was a little girl at her house. It was so cool to be able to use these to celebrate an event in our family!

One of my favorites

I love how unique each one was

Another one of my centerpieces

These were a dessert my mom made...teacups made out of cookies, waffle bowls, and chocolate mousse. They were cute and tasty!

DC and Baby C's two great-grandma's

The ladies, enjoying their tea. :)

Favors....Miss M scored a few of these for her "babies"

Guess how many animal crackers

She got a lot of cute stuff!
