Why did the turkey cross the road?

On our morning drive, we go past this intersection every day and more days than not, this feathered friend is lurking near the intersection. The kids always watch for him and get so excited when they see him. He's a bird with a death wish, that's for sure! Has stopped traffic on Cedar many a morning. This morning was no different. He crossed Cedar, stopped in the middle to look straight at the line of cars, waiting to go, and then continued on his way.
